Pulau Asu delivers a world-class left-hand reef break that can run for more than 150 metres, with barrels, walls, and sections for intermediate and experienced surfers. When the swell turns on, it gets fast, powerful, and hollow. And when you feel like exploring, multiple backup breaks are just a short boat ride away.

“Anyone who comes to the Hinako Islands to surf will certainly know about the perfect waves without crowds. But if you really want perfection in every aspect, the Sozinhos Lodge is the place to be. The location, vibe, food, good coffee (very important for me 🤪), comfort and service are amazing. The rooms are very clean, nice and super spacious with a large terrace ; and there’s air conditioning as well in the 2 big bungalows. But what makes it unbeatable, though, are Cam (the manager) and his team, Lama, Dasi, Penga, and Ferdyan.”
