How to Get There

Guests need to get to Medan in order to fly to Nias. Important to arrive in Medan with enough time to get a flight to Nias arriving anytime on or before 2.30pm, this allows for enough time for taxi across Nias and Speedboat transfer to ASU before dark, for safety reasons we do not do boat transfers at dusk or dawn.

Vice versa, your flight out of Nias should be anytime from 11am onwards, this will leave enough time to get to the airport from Asu Island and with enough time to check in.

We can arrange for a safe and reliable taxi to meet you at Gunungsitoli Airport arrivals, and transfer you to Sirombu, which is approximately a 2½ hour drive. From there, our speedboat will be waiting at the jetty to take you across to Asu Island, a journey of around 35 to 45 minutes.
